Mojogro
Finally, something you can put in your garden that commercial growers use too!
If you were at our open house earlier this month you might remember taking home a bag of Mojogro™. At Dutch Heritage Gardens we choose Mojogro™ (For GARDEN use) instead of peat for many reasons. The same reasons you should continue using it at home in your potted plants and gardens.
Mojogro™ vs. Peat
- Peat is naturally acidic and can seriously drop pH of the soil. Most plants cannot grow properly in low pH soil.
- Peat is hydro-phobic, meaning it repels water. This is not good for plants that need water to live.
- Peat dries rapidly and does not hold water as well as Mojogro™.
- Peat does not have the ability to hold on to plant nutrients important to proper plant growth as well as Mojogro™.
- Peat does not have the microbes that facilitate nutrient uptake by the plant.
- Peat is not harvested in the US and does not support the US economy. Mojogro™ is harvested and produced entirely in the US.

A soil which was more natural, more predictable and longer lasting then anything on the market. What they came up with was a 100% organic, recycled solution which nature itself provides. This all natural soil has been proven to grow larger healthier plants and vegetables…. [read more]
